Wadi Araba Hiking Expedition (Short)

This program is special for those who are looking to discover the canyons of Jordan by foot. This tour will take you from top of the valley of Hommema to Wadi Ahemmer to the sand dunes in the southern portion of Wadi Araba. A local Bedouin guide will accompany you and cook traditional Bedouin meals.

A camel will be provided to carry the necessary equipment. At the bottom of the valley, camels will also be used to take you through the sand dunes.

This program takes 3 nights and 4 days and includes transportation to and from Aqaba. If you wish, you can also do this expedition entirely by camel or horse

Itinerary:

Day 1: Walk through the valley of Hommemah. Sleep in the middle of valley.

Day 2: After breakfast, begin walk to the bottom of the valley where lunch will be provided. Camp in Ghregana between the sand dunes

Day 3: Walk or ride the camel through the sand dunes stopping along the way to the camp for lunch. Dinner will be provided at the camp.

Day 4: After breakfast, walk to the main road to catch the transportation back to Aqaba.
