Ajlun castle

The capturing natural views extend on the mountains tops and the low valleys around Ajlun , the old tremendous city. The name came from old Laramie pronunciation of one of Moab's kings named Ajlun, who lived in the area before date. Because of the large quantity of trees and forests Ajlun city seems to dress up in green the whole year. It has a special location among other cities since it occupies the highest peak in the north Jordan.Because of the very high mountains and the sharp deep valleys Ajlun's nature is described as a rough and tumble one but the green vale covers its parts give the city a special splendor and magic.
Through the history Ajlun has been a linking point between Levant and the Mediterranean coast. The great leader Salah Al-din has realized its importance and made it one of his military bases during his reign.
