Almost 300 meters from the Palace Tomb the Sextuis Florentinus Tomb is located, Sextuis Florentinus was the roman governor of the province of Petra around 127 A.D among other positions, 3 years after his death his son had a tomb made for him. From the inscriptions over the door archeologists managed to infer the previous information.

The tomb is badly worn out, and as it faces north it seldom has the sun on it, it is composed of two storeys the first has four huge columns between them there is a huge gate that leads to a carved room. The upper storey is decorated with an arched a semi-circular pediment inside of which there is an eagle carved in the rock.
