The High Place of Sacrifice

This is one of the most important and best preserved religious sits of its kind of the ancient world. It consists of two opposite alters with some religious constructions between them are some houses for the priests. Its open yard has triple rocky seats. It also contains a small water fountain and some platforms. The alter is accessed through three steps, there also exist two basins, one of them is linked to a basin in the middle, where the sacrifices' blood was kept, so that the priests can collect the blood and spread it out on the platform and on the assistances. The other basin was used for water.
