Diving in Aqaba it is an adventure it self. Aqaba offers an exciting 20 diving sites along Aqaba south beach, the sea in the Gulf of Aqaba is almost invariably calm water temperature varying between 19 c in winter to 26 c in summer. Each site in the Gulf of Aqaba in shape and inhabitants from slopes to drop off, there are no off-shore reefs to warrant boat diving, you will find canyons and flat bottom veiled completely with flourishing corals.
The soft and hard coral formation is spectacular, it is an adventure of a life time, and there are many species unique in different seasons in the Gulf of Aqaba. This is one of the house reefs of Club Murjan, about 700m long reef located just south of the Marin science station, first Dive entry point is 200m north of Club Murjan, loads of hard and soft corals and table corals. Shallow fringing reef of the fire corals and small gardens
It is located just south of the first Bay, with average depth 13m,Reef extends about 500m out from the shore in front and just north of the camping, fish life white morays, triggers, goat fish and angles, scorpions, lion fish , butterflies, damsels.
It is located between the former Camping site and the Rainbow reef.With coral garden starts just bellow the surface with fire corals and pinnacles,
Fish life emperor, snapper, crocodile fish, lyre tail, small trigger fish, wrasse, parrot fish, lion fish and scorpion fish, box fish, many butterfly fish and regularly visited by turtles.
It is located just to the south of the shipwreck, there is a drop off that leads to below 40m where a huge spotted eagle can be occasionally found in about 30m.fish life lionfish, angelfish,corn fish, grey moray, groupers, school fish of snappers lunar fusiliers and the butterflies fish of the Reef.
